How much do you depend on your upline or sponsor?
Do you feel like your upline or sponsor is not fulfiling their responsibilites to help you in your network marketing business? Did you think that they would do all the work for you, and that all you had to do was to sign on the line?
If your upline is not doing as much as you would like in training you or supporting you, maybe that is a GOOD thing! You might want to think about THANKING them for that!
Having an upline that does too much for you is not doing you any favors.
If You Depend Too Much On Your Upline, You Will Not Grow
If your sponsor or upline is doing all the work for you, then you are not learning. And if you are not learning, you are not growing. If your upline is not working to grow your business, and you are not working either to build your business, how is your business going to grow?
To learn to be a leader and to grow your business, you need to become independent of your sponsor. Don’t depend on your upline. Learn to do the action yourself. Learn to do your own presentations. Become your own expert at recruiting and following up.
Become independent and be your own business person.
Too many times we feel that we need someone to guide us, to take our hand and protect us from any mistakes that we might make.
But if you don’t learn to do it on your own, you will become crippled. You will never be able to function in your business as a leader.
Use Your Upline, Don’t Depend on Your Upline
Now I am NOT saying to cut your upline off. Go to your events and stay in contact with your upline. Glean as much knowledge from them as you can. But then go to work yourself and use the knowledge that you have been given. Don’t depend upon them.
If your organization is having an event, by all means, go to it! Receive with gratitude any help and knowledge that is offered.
Search out knowledge wherever you can find it. Use your upline as a resource, but not as a crutch. Then if your sponsor should quit the business, you still have your skills and knowledge that you have developed.
